Visualization and intelligent design in engineering and architecture II

This book contains some of the most important presentations in the 2nd International Conference on Visulalization and Intelligent Design in Egnineering and Architecture, VIDEA 95, held in La Coruña in June, 1995. A good number of works correspond to practical applications on scientific, engineering and architectural subjects. Also examples of visualization response to dynamic fluid systems or solid mechanics are incorporated because with these techniques, it is possible to represent results of discrete models of finite element, contour element and finite differentials.

Visualization and intelligent design in engineering and architecture

The recent advances in computer visualization of objects and physical phenomena have been truly remarkable. Using these possibilities, virtual universes can be generated to completely simulate situations in wide range of fields such as architecture, engineering and other disciplines. To discuss the most recent advances in this field, the 1st Internacional Conference on Visulalization and Intelligent Design in Engineering and Architecture, VIDEA 93 was organized in Southampton in April, 1993.
